What are the benefits of lavender oil?

Lavender essential oil features a very distinct scent, an aroma renowned for its abilities to relax the mind and promote a good night's sleep. Lavender is a key ingredient in two of our products: Blow (under eye protection) and Grind (face scrub protection). 

We recommend using Blow (under eye protection), after cleansing your skin using our 4-Step Kit. Just before bedtime we recommend applying a small amount of Blow under the eyelids (avoiding contact with eyes) by gently patting around the eye area. Blow is handmade using organic aloe vera gel, organic glycerin, organic argan oil, organic jojoba oil, organic rosehip oil, citric acid, natural vitamin E and lavender essential oil.

The organic lavender essential oil that we use to make Blow (under eye protection) releases soothing benefits. Distilled from the plant Lavandula angustifolia, the oil offers antioxidant protection. Not only is Lavender essential oil packed full of antioxidants, its compounds also stimulate our body’s natural antioxidant processes to provide an effective defence from the free radicals we encounter on a daily basis. It is also great for targeting breakouts, which is why we use it to produce Grind (face scrub protection). Lavender essential oil contains antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory qualities, which help fight breakouts. Grind is also handmade using kaolin clay, glycerine, bamboo, lavender essential oil, rice starch and citric acid. 

Lavender essential oil can also improve blood circulation as well as promote a youthful skin complexion. As an essential ingredient to restore and maintain the epidermis, the toning effect of lavender oil can help fight signs of ageing and leave your skin renewed.

It can also protect and promote the skin’s natural barrier by drawing out toxins and balancing the skin's pH levels for the ultimate skin detox.

Due to its anti-inflammatory compounds, lavender oil also improves skin tone, evenness and the skin’s natural luminosity.
