What are stretch marks & how to fade them naturally?

What are stretch marks?

Stretch marks are fine lines in the skin that occur when fast growth or weight gain stretches the skin. Skin is quite stretchy, but when it's overstretched, the usual production of collagen (the major protein that makes up the tissue in skin) is disrupted. Stretch marks can appear during puberty, pregnancy and fitness activity with excessive weight loss.

Stretch marks look like lines or streaks across the skin that looks pink, red, brown, black, silver or purple. Typically stretch marks start off darker and fade over time. Stretch marks are quite common on the stomach, breasts, chest, upper arms, legs, bottom, hips or back.

How can I get rid of stretch marks?

Stretch marks fade over time, but with treatment you can speed up the process to make them less noticeable more quickly. You can reduce the appearance of stretch marks using natural ingredients to exfoliate and treat the skin.

Using Polish (body scrub protection) removes excess dead skin from your body as well as new skin from your stretch marks. The demerara sugar works well with the turmeric to rid dead skin cells and also brighten the skin.

Exfoliating your skin alongside using Raw (body bar cleansing protection), which is also known as turmeric soap, can also enhance your results and speed up the process to fade stretch marks naturally. The coconut oil and Epsom salt contained in this natural, vegan and organic body bar effectively support with reducing the appearance of your stretch marks. However, curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, can also treat stretch marks when applied to the skin.

The last step is to apply Sustain (oil cleansing protection) which contains argan oil, which increases skin's elasticity. Massaging the skin with argan oil helps to increase the elasticity of the skin, helping heal the broken tissues gradually making the marks fade.

We recommend using the Body Kit as it contains three products to effectively reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
